I disagree. This move, to me, is a better bet than signing Ilyasova or making a trade for a guy like Pachulia. Now, Al Jefferson...that's a trade I'd explore before this one.
The fact that you started a thread for a random trade proposal when there's already a thread for them is the problem here.
There isn't a team in the entire league that would dare trade for STAT. The Knicks are stuck with him for years to come. And if the Rockets did trade for STAT, they wouldn't have to give up anything of real value to acquire him. The Knicks would give anything if for some team to inquire about a trade, but it's not going to happen.
