Sign and Trade for Amar'e Stoudemire HOU gets Amar'e Stoudemire Jannero Pargo NYK gets Kevin Martin Goran Dragic 2014 and 2016 1st Round Picks ATL gets Luis Scola I'm not a cap expert, so I'll defer to you all to let me know if this works salary cap-wise.
Why is this such a bad trade? Oh yeah, he's not named Dwight Howard. I know how fond you all are of him on these boards. It's time to swing for the fences. One, so Morey can keep his job. Secondly, so we have a legitimate big man for the first time since Hakeem.
I was a big Amar'e fan last year and thought he was just in a slump, but he basically looked completely spent all season. Pass.
dragic is still a FREE agent. How can you trade him? Plus, i don't think we have enough glass case of fire extinguisher..
In my opinion, the reason why it is a bad draft is as follows: - He is about to turn 30 years old and has been in the league for 10 seasons, so he is going to start sliding down in terms of production - He has some back issues that appear to be a concern - He had another star on the team with him in NY and still couldn't get out of the first round. I am just not a huge Amar'e fan.
No freaking way. Literally the last player I would trade for. He is a loser and more interested in stats than wins.
Like the Al Jefferson thread suggesting we trade for him? I like that trade idea, just as I like this one. If you all are happy with the Omer Asiks and Ersan Ilyasovas of the world (ROLE PLAYERS)... more power to you. But 30 years old or not, Amar'e instantly makes this team better.
probably the worst idea i've heard this week; and someone tried to convince me to pee on a power outlet yesterday.
Why is Ilyasovas a role player? He just turned 25 years old and last year started showing signs of being a pretty strong player. The reason why he would be a better pick up is he is young and on the upside of his career. Unfortunately, Amar'e is on the downside of his career. I am not a fan of Asik, so I won't comment on that.
