on second thought, don't need to post here, just send a tweet. it is easy to tabulate on twitter how many are sent. thank you to the people who already sent one!
LMAO! I just checked and only one person has tweeted that. That one person is probably OP (@aka206). Goran, is that you trying to get your $10 million?
I.agree man....good effort...if we pay asik 8 mil..then gogi for sure is worth 10 mil ....love the way guy plays ball..
so you expect 100% of your teams $35 - $45 million or whatever in salary to be earned? it's not possible, so why squabble over $2 or $3 million only 5% or less of the total salary. it is just stupid. somebody is going to be overpaid, face it so may as well pay somebody who has a good chance of earning it.
i believe morey is a great gm by the way. maybe the best in the league. how can it be reported the rockets want to sign dragic "badly" and now this? these two reports just don't add up. it thought they would pay more if they had to, even $10 million a year.
You've clearly never negotiated for anything worth negotiating for. Stop panicking. They knew from the beginning that Dragic would first get our offer, then go to the Suns and whoever else to up the offer, and let us counter with an extra year tacked onto whatever else the Suns offer. They've got 10 days to try to squeeze as much out of teams as possible, why would you want the Rockets to overpay by panicking when they can sit back and be patient knowing that they can counter later with 10 days to go? /thread
@johnstarks #paygogi to @dmorey can't hurt i see what you are saying, but often suprising things happen in sports as far as player personnel decisions, and what do you make of this: http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/47057/sources-dragic-return-to-rockets-unlikely
