Marvin Williams is going to Utah for Devin Harris. The Rockets can still beat a Horford/Teague/draft picks offer.

With all the pressure off JJ could be a really good 3rd option. I don't think he takes all the pressure well and playing with Deron and Howard certainly will take that pressure off.

He won't be playing with Dwight Howard, since Brooklyn doesn't have the assets to trade for him, and lacks the cap space to sign him.

Just heard this on ESPN radio.

If Dwight is deadset on Brooklyn, he'll have to settle for less $$$.

Also, a Deron + JJ backcourt sounds deadly.

This Orlando GM is awesome. Basically said "screw you Dwight" and didn't even try to negotiate with the Nets. LOL

so DH goes from Brooklyn is the only team he'll go to.. to either Dallas or LA? Come on man. I think I'd rather watch reruns of The Decision. Make up your damn mind already.

I beg to differ. Lowry by himself is better than Jeff Teague. Then, all the young players the Rockets have on rookie contracts could easily appeal to the Magic more than Al Horford. Both teams have similar draft picks to offer.

An offer centered around Horford is not much different than the Bynum idea the Magic have yet to accept. The Magic very well might prefer Donuts, Lamb, Lowry, and one of Jones, White, Morris, or Parsons to Al Horford and Jeff Teague.

Some GMs prefer to trade their stars to the other conference.

How does the Johnson trade effect the Nets trying to sign Dwight next summer as a FA?

I'm assuming Howard would have to take a huge pay cut to sign with the Nets.

Will they still be able to sign DH at all? LOL IIRC JJ's contract isn't an expiring, and D-Will will sign his extension this year.
