    People were not falling head over heals for Wade coming out of college. It wasn't like he was Tim Duncan coming out.

    Lakers didn't tank. They traded for kobe, who was the 13th pick.

    I was just watching Bucher on ESPN talking about Jeremy Lin, saying a team might sign him to a similar deal to the Asik Rockets deal. He clearly didn't understand the fact that the only way the deal balloons up in the third year is if the Bulls match. He said that the team that signs him will have to think twice before taking a poison pill contract just to avoid the other team matching. This is why I don't listen to Bucher, he just doesn't have all the facts together at any time.

    Asik is about the only move available that the team can make on their own, without a trading partner. And the boss signed off on it.

    He's working hard, he's making a relatively smart move, there are always extenuating circumstances as to why players succeed or fail. ( if not, why do so many high picks fail?

    Wade was drafted 5th!!!! He was not a surprise nor unexpected to go that high.

    Kobe was the 13th pick because he refused to play for anyone but L.A. Otherwise he would have gone much much higher. The Lakers were in no-man's land just like us but got saved by the DRAFT.

    Imagine that?

    If we can find sure thing superstar who only wants to play in Houston, great. But otherwise we have to tank.
