Only because he's in Europe. On his twitter he posted about playing a charity golf event for a friend I think. Once he gets back to the US, if he hasn't already. He'll do the rounds.
I didn't want to reply to the other post so I'll write it here. He is from Slovenia not Slovakia and yes he comes in today 'cuz he was playing golf with Anze Kopitar (another Slovenian), surely you remember 1st line center for Los Angeles Kings (stanley cup winners exactly) and so will USA remember Goran Dragic NBA Champion w/ Rockets. He will resign, no other team will give him 10mil and starting job there's too many veterans for discount prices
Mark Berman @MarkBermanFox26 NBA sources: UFA guard Goran Dragic, the Rockets' top priority, is expected to meet with team officials in Houston this afternoon.
Jonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen Rockets GM DMorey expected to meet w/ Goran Dragic today, source said. Having met with Gordon and agreed w/ Asik, emphasis on Rockets pt gd.
OMG he didn't meet with Goran first that means he thinks of Goran as nothing but a number! Goran probably hates Maury now!!!!eleven
If we can get goran for under 7.5 mill per year that would be ideal. Getting goran for a good deal makes this offseason immediately more interesting, because it means for sure lowry will be traded. Hopefully we can - Sign Asik to the offer'd deal Sign Camby for under 4.5 mill Sign lee for under 6 mill Sign Dragic for under 7 mill Trade Lowry, Martin and Scola for fair value while evening out the team That would make this a great offseason. Now i don't know our cap space situation but i'm sure we would haft to cut and trade people to get all those signing's done as well.
I'm worried. This is not a situation where we can match. If he signs an offer sheet with someone else, we are up a creek. However, he did say he wants a winner, and the only teams to publicly express interest are the Rockets, Raptors, Suns, Nets, Hornets and Lakers. The Nets have Deron Williams so they are out since Goran wants to be the starting PG. The Rockets, Raptors, Suns and Hornets are not contenders next year so that leaves ... the Lakers.
