Seriously, what the **** has happened to clutchfans in the past several years?? The posts were actually respectable in years past. Now it's just blatant stupidity all over the place.

You don't seem to be familiar with Sweet Tard 4 2. He generally makes stuff up to create his convoluted arguments, rife with misspelled words and factual errors.

He's going to count a little over 8 million a year for all 3 years for us...his contract balloons to almost 15 million if the Bulls match the offer.

Morey is just going to trade him if he doesn't do well after his first year. Look at what happen to Trevor Ariza, Brad Miller, ect.

Robin Lopez! He's decently athletic, can block some shots, rebounds, plays D, is tough, hustles, would be cheaper then Asik, isn't as bad as Asik on offense, is the exact same size as Asik 7'0 255 and is only 24. Although he isn't as good of a rebounder or isn't as aggressive on D as Asik he isn't bad and is definitely worth a look.

There is something really wrong with you.

Keep your obsessive idiotic self in D&D where trash like you belongs.

Don't forget the key signings of Mo Taylor and locking up Moochie Norris to a 6-yr deal.

Less than 1 block per game, less than 4 REBOUNDS per game, and he damn sure won't be cheaper than 5 mil.

    Which would you pick?

Other than Hibbert (not coming to Houston), Asik and Camby arguably the two best remaining in this lot. They are specialists on defense and rebouding, but you need these specialties and they do their job very well.

1986, 1993 - 97. Those were our 5 years. The rest of the time we were obvious also rans from day one of the season.

Hakeem by himself can not turn the fortunes anymore than anyone player can. You need more than one superstar.

Right now this team has ZERO. And you fools want to pick up role players to trap us into mediocrity.

What a clever maneuver by Morey. If Chicago wants to match, they're stuck with a poison pill contract in year 3 (unlike us).

If you think this is a ridiculous contract for Asik, you obviously don't value defense and rebounding, and apparently don't recognize the Rockets' need for a player specifically like Asik. Our defense should improve dramatically if Asik/Camby is our center rotation.

Gotta love Morey. He's completely trolling the Bulls.

Yup, and that's what we will need. But the more we lose, the less luck we need. That's the general idea. You increase your odds, not decrease them.

If you ask me, I'd target
    Spencer Hawes (free agency)
    Marcin Gortat (trade)
    Dwight Howard (trade)

with Camby as a back up plan (better suited off bench)

with Gasol as a puke in my mouth option (trade...but no Lowry)

Heat tanked in 2002. Finished with 25 wins. Drafted Wade. Rest is history

Lakers got a kid named Kobe Bryant who only wanted to play for them. Otherwise they would be no where. I guarantee you that once Kobe retires the Lakers tank.

14 mins per game? he's been trapped behind gortat and .9 blocks per game is pretty much a block, give him 28 mins and he'll have 1.8 blocks, 10.8 points and 6.6 rebounds. Like i said, not better than asik but not much worst and definitely worth a look.
