Man Found Guilty Commits Suicide On The Courtroom!

    A horrified court room looked on today as a man who had just been convicted of burning down his $3.5 million mansion collapsed and died in front of them. Michael Marin, 53, was found guilty of arson by a jury in Maricopa County Superior Court. He appeared shocked and closed his eyes as the verdict was read before appearing to put something in his mouth and wash it down with liquid in a plastic water bottle. In the shocking court room video, he then fell to the floor a few minutes later in convulsions. Mr Marin was taken to a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was pronounced dead. "

    The real question here is: why is it 104 degrees at 9:00?!?!?!? And I don't want to hear "well, it's a dry heat, man" :grin:

    I think I am more disturbed by the responses in this thread than to this incident.

    Anyway Maricopa County may want to reexamine their courtroom security procedures since this guy was able to smuggle a deadly substance into a courtroom during a trial.

    Disturbed by what? Should we all be sympathetic for this guy? If you can't do the time, don't do the crime, I always say. This guy took the easy way out. Does it suck, yeah; do I feel bad for the guy, no; And if he could do this to his family (I'm assuming he has one), then that is a poor reflection on him.

    I'll admit that I saw this earlier on WorldStarHipHop. No shame!


    Also, I think there has to be more to the case than this. I don't think homeboy would have ingested that substance if it were just a short jailterm.

    And, as a person that lives in AZ, our politcal/legal system is one of the worst in the nation. From immigration to education and civil rights, we are horrendous.

    It was probably easy for the guy to plan this. However, Sherrif Joe keeps our prisons packed with minor offenders with mar1juana charges.
