I love the Lamb pick! I do think that Kmart is under rated in Houston, I think he could learn under him for a year. Of course he would learn nothing on defense but on offense I think Kmart is a clever player who could teach lamb a few tricks. If we resign lee then, of course Kmart is a goner.

Kmart has been given a lot of money for sitting on the bench grinning.

Man I have really sold myself on this kid. I hope he doesn't get packaged into a trade for Gordon. I really want to see him develop.

I want to see all of the draftees develop b/c I think they have huge upside. Everyone's been crying about how we should build through the draft, well we got 3 top-level players in one draft. This is where you start.

I would hate to see them on another team flourishing while we try to gather our assets just to get them back.

This is exactly how I feel ! I'm not sure I want Gordon in fear he will take time from Lamb or be trade for him. I feel in a few years Lamb will be better

Which is why I cringe anytime someone suggests trading Lamb. He has star potential I think.

I like Lamb, but I think Martin has to be traded for this to end well.

They put Beal in the guards group. But I think Lamb is a better overall talent than Beal.

    http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Situational-Statistics-the-2012-Wing-Crop-4001/

"-Jeremy Lamb ranks as the third best wing on our big board, and is the first wing on the list to really look like a top prospect from a statistical perspective. Lamb's 1.05 PPP ranks fourth overall and he's doing so on an above average 16.5 possessions per game.

A very dangerous shooter and scorer, Lamb sees the fifth highest percentage of shots coming of the jump-shot variety, though his 0.978 PPS surprisingly ranks just 11th of 18th. Equally surprising is the fact that his 1.463 PPS finishing around the basket ranks first overall, though he's doing so on the fourth lowest number of shots from this area, seeing just 17.8% of his half-court field goal attempts there.

The one specific area Lamb really shines is coming off screens, where his 1.112 PPP ranks third overall, and he's doing so on 16% of overall possessions, the second highest distribution. This is a nice tool for a rookie to have coming into the league and may help him establish a niche early on."
