I understand the 'no untouchable' premise, but maury has a way of makin his players feel like chess pieces, not human.. every gm does it, but his intentions are so out in the media with minute to minute update, it gets exhaustive and bruised egos for the players

I love Moreys aggressiveness but be more tigh lipped about it to keep the peace on your team, players tend to play harder for you if theyre happy

lol.. you just answered your question

Dragic is asking for twice as much as Lowry, when he is not even a better player, and Lowry is younger

if Morey wanted to keep Dragic, he should have kept him on the bench... when Lowry came back. That way he could hide his talent, like he did for Lowry when Brooks was the starter. Because if you dont, you have a situation that you have now. Where Dragic's agent is asking for 10 million because they know Lowry has been alienated by the organization. Hahaha

Its either pay Dragic what he wants, or lose both PG's

    In Morey we Trust!

That's not relevant at all. I said role players should expect to be traded sometimes, and that trading stars hasn't affected any other team from landing a big star, the you wrote meaningless dialogue about Dragic and Lowry, lol.

Morey only treats expendable players like assets. He absolutely refused to trade Yao even after a couple years of injuries because he was the cornerstone of this franchise. If you are THE main piece of this franchise Morey is almost loyal to a fault.

BTW Lowry is not really a role-player. If he is the best player on our team

I was just giving you an example

If Morey is willing to dog out Lowry( the best player on the team when healthy).. who was talked about for an All-Star selection before his injury, then what does that say when we get a better player than him

Once again, because you seem to have difficulty with this:

    Keep it in the D & D.

It says nothing. He would be bending over for Dwight or someone else of that caliber were here.

Please. Players treat teams like endorsement stages.

Come on, dude. Not to derail the thread, but I've read your posts in the D&D. You're about as independent as Sean Hannity.

I do agree with your general attitude toward ObamaFan, though, but let's not equate it to his political beliefs.

theres non specifically, but you must be blind to all the shoulda, woulda, coulda articles that constantly surface.. gms are unwilling to deal with morey cuz hes a low baller, he tries to get a tmac deal everytime and it doesnt work that way.. annnd in the process he manages to smear the names of every player on his roster, players in the league take note, if you dont believe that, its naive man

Its obvious that both PG's are starting caliber PG's in the NBA, the problem is only 1 of them is under contract. And the one thats under contract happens to be the better player. Dragic let it be known after the win in Portland, that he wasnt thinking about Free-agency, but he wanted to go to a team, where his family would be happy, and that he would START....

When Morey said that they were gonna resign Dragic, that right there should have let you know that Lowry was gonna be replaced. The problem is, Morey figured that because Dragic "loves" Houston, that he would give them a discount. But as we have seen with the statement from his camp, that is NOT the case.

So basically Morey counted his chickens before they were hatched so to speak
