    true, but theres a better way to go about it.. calling his players assets is an offensive philosphy, you dont ruin the morale and upset your players, the nba is a fraternity and youre only diggin your own grave after a while

    The asset argument is just stupid anyway.
    Every NBA player is an asset and if they they don't realize that then that kind of tells you how smart they are. I want Morey to treat them like assets and only pay what they are worth and only keep them when they are still producing.

    Oh Martin, Brooks, and Lowry are good players im sure they or their AGENTS are letting other players know about Morey, and how he is 2-faced about everything

    Agents are probably sick of Morey too

    I don't get why this is a topic. We haven't been to the playoffs in years. Haven't been legit competitive for a championship in longer than that. There are only like MAYBE 10 players in the NBA that are not deemed assets in by every GM in the league. You have to be great in order to be irreplaceable. A guard that doesn't play defense and can no longer draw fouls like he used is angry because we want to trade him? So what.

    All those guys are role players, who should expect to get moved around.


    Buss has been trying to dump Pao. Ainge has tried to dump Allen, Pierce and Rondo. Miami dumped Shaq. Didn't affect big signings for them.

    I've heard the term assets be referred to by other GMs in the NBA this year as well as GMs of other sports...

    I think Kevin Martin has matured and understands pro sports. You are digging up something he said 1 year ago.
