    its just so surprising how many of our fans think the answers to all our problems are foregin players. Not every star in the Euroleagues will be Dirk in the NBA. SMH

    If these guys are so good, why are many of them undrafted., and most teams steer clear of signing them even as free-agents. I understand some of the contract issues that could potentially lower draft stock like for Dragic and Thiago Splitters case, but the best young Euro big in the NBA is Nikola Pekovic( and his team is barely a playoff team).

    The way he runs up and down the court, his soft jumper, his post skills

    i just dont know why Morey didnt go after him

    Asik is nowhere near Gortat

    Gortat is a beast, he can shoot, his is mobile, and is a tough rebounder

    What? Like Ben Wallace? Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

    Defensively, he'll be among the best in the league for us, at that position, but he's no Ben Wallace.

    He's a great asset to grow WITH our team, if you are looking for a defensive C that can compliment a strong offensive team, you look for a veteran one. You look for one like Noah, like Camby, like Chandler. Asik can grow with our team.

    whoa, u totally dont understand their 2 different players, Gortat is the offensive guy and Asik is the defensive guy, no comparisons at all except for thier skin color which is what ur basing it off of

    Yep! Gortat should've been an all star. When howard was out, gortat was double-double.

    That would be a fantastic starting five. Great defensively, and Gasol and Asik would pair nicely. But if pursuing Gordon, Gasol and Asik would jeopardize re-singin Dragic, it wouldn't be worth it. Dragic should be top priority IMO.

    Gortat was a scrub at the Magic, same rubbish stats that Asik is pulling now with similar minutes.
