Would love to see him in Miami. That would be such a badass team. Add Nash and Camby and that is the most complete team that I can remember.

If he wants to play 4 more years, he can sign a 2 or 3 year deal with a contender and return to Houston for his final season.

Makes sense. He's got a couple years left, I'm sure he wants a chance at a title, not part of a rebuilding process. He'll go to Miami for cheap.

Starting to think we'll settle for Gasol. Asik and Gasol would be a pretty good front court. Then we sign and trade for Gordon. Then sign dragic

    Asik
    Gasol
    Parsons
    Gordon
    Dragic

I could live with that. Would only hope L.A takes on some of Gasol's contract.

If we can't get him wish he goes to BOS. I don't want OKC or MIA getting him.

Chris Haynes, CSNNW.com Trail Blazers Insider (@ChrisBHaynes)

The unrestricted free-agent center, Marcus Camby, has narrowed his choices to the New York Knicks, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, and the Dallas Mavericks, a league source told CSNNW.com.

All of these teams and then some, called Camby's agent, Rick Kaplan, shortly after July 1 hit, inquiring about his services, but at this point in his career, he's only considering teams in contention for a championship, the same source said.

I'm being told at the moment, Camby doesn't plan on taking any visits with teams, being that he's been in the league for so long and knows what he is looking for.
Camby, 38, just completed his 16th season and spent the first half of last season as a member of the Portland Trail Blazers before being traded at the trade deadline to the Houston Rockets for Jonny Flynn, Hasheem Thabeet, and a 2012 second round pick that was used to select Will Barton.

He has career averages of 9.7 points per game, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks.

Chance are the Rockets are hoping to get him for the "Room Exception" for teams that uses their cap room to sign FAs. This would be 2 years, $5.2M max. The outside teams are likely offering all or part of their mid-level (at least 3 years, $9.6 M).

Camby going to the Heat has nothing to do with us if we are to go young and start developing younger players.

Anyone think Morey has yet to contact him? Who knows, maybe a broken down 38 year old center isn't the best option.

Just don't sign with Miami, because that would solve all of their problems next season (barring injuries).

Edit: okay his recent tweets look good if the Rockets want him back.
