    Complains about just missing the playoffs and picking 14th 3 years in a row, wants management to make changes...complains about management not being loyal and keeping players.

    Every GM in the league treats players like assets. Martin can be butt-hurt all he wants, but when you sign your rights over for $$$ then expect to treated like what you are, an asset.

    The NBA is a business and in a business the "money making objects" are called assets. So in the NBA the players are assets who happen to make millions of dollars a year. A good player on a good contract is a good asset to have. A player who has a disastrous contract is a toxic asset of sorts. I

    This is such an illogical arguement. Does anyone really think Dwight Howard or any other superstar isn't coming to the Rockets because they are afraid Morey would trade them like assets? Superstars don't get traded like assets in the first place, unless they aren't playing like superstars any more.

    Funny thing is...if Martin hit shots in the 4th qtr he'd be an untouchable player and locked in at the 2 spot for years to come....

    Seems like Denver, Indiana, Chicago, OKC, and the clippers arena red better in their rebuilding efforts than DM is with his asset building approach. Don't like the guy.
