Dragic is a better athlete, better defender, better passer, is much taller, and much much much much much quicker.

Lowry is a decent starting PG - but he will never be a top notch PG - he just does not have it athletically.

Dragic might not get there either, but he has a much greater chance....

You got that right brother, and I suspect with the new CBA, the agents are trying to figure it out too, the landscape has changed some.

You have absolutely no idea if D-Mo is capable of playing at the 5.

Everybody knows that there's a difference between wanting, and actually getting what you ask for. In this case, Goran wants $10M a year and to be a starter. The point is, if a team offers him $10M a year, what do the Rockets do, then. That's the question, is Goran worth $10M a year. A lot say no, a lot say yes. But the underlying factor is how much better is Goran over Lowry. I'm not sure, considering Lowry was you can argue, an All-Star caliber player last year. Resign Goran, then really, we're dealing out of a position of weakness as every team knows the Rockets would then need to move Lowry.

    Sooooo KLow it is!
    Bye Goran!

I'd go 8M, 4yrs/32M.... anything more is overpaying..... and DM doesnt overpay... so i dont know why he's talkin to Asik...

I like Dragic, but 10M is too rich. A 10M/per PG has to be all-star worthy to me and I don't think Dragic will ever hit that level.

Jason Kidd who is a Hall of Famer. And Wade is the point guard on that team, they only have Chalmers in that role to bring the ball up the floor to let Wade save his energy. But all the passing really comes from Wade & Lebron, although Chalmers has an easier time since the defense doesn't focus on him.

When you consider that Wade is actually a point guard (leads his team in assists too). And OKC has Westbrook, through in Rondo & Parker - and all the 4 final teams had amazing point guards. If not technically the guy who brings the ball up the floor, the people who essentially run the offense.

Maybe we could blow everyone's mind and keep both. Let Lowry complain all he wants, I don't care. By the trade deadline next year there will be a playoff team desperate for a PG, maybe because of an injury. At that point we can deal Lowry for something of value.

Might as well spend half that money on Aaron Brooks and have him backup Lowry. :p

Uhm, Bron and Wade share the PG duties with Chalmers calling plays from time to time. Also, Bron averaged more APG than Wade in both seasons.

What has Goran done? Oh yeah, racking up a much worse than .500 record as a starter while leading his team to a chokejob right out of the playoffs.

I think I can predict the winners on this one: Royce White and the Houston Rockets.

If i wood be Dragic i would say buck all these fans here showing no appreciation... In his place i would go play for another team for twice less money that is mentioned here just to buck you fans with no loyalty. PS he is white that gives him 2mil more for starts. lol

The last time an NBA team won a championship with their PG being their best player was probably Isaiah. PGs just don't win you championships especially without superior talent around them.
