It doesn't matter what he wants. It's what he can get on the market. The Rockets don't need to pay the minimum of what Dragic want, they need to pay slightly more than what another team offers. Or simply let Dragic go.

I'm more than fine with letting Dragic go unless the Rockets are contenders next year by winning the Dwight Howard sweepstakes. Otherwise, I'm fine with letting him go and keeping Lowry. Or better yet, let both go and just roll out with the kids.

Sure that is the way to roll.....
I wonder what his PR team is thinking..... 10+ million for a guy who has had a good 25 games in a shortened season

Love Goran, but that's not even close to an offer I'd be comfortable with. 5 years 30 million, last year non guaranteed.

    Can't stand posters like you.

Can't blame Dragic for trying to get the most that he can. Dragic is doing the same thing that hundreds of other NBA players have done. I don't think he's greedy at all. Dragic has worked hard and when he got his chance to show what he could do last year, he took advantage of that opportunity and played great. I don't know if the Rockets will out bid all the other teams, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did.

who cares what his agent is looking for in the way of contract $? Doesn't mean he's gonna get it, and it doen't mean that's what they expect to get. People need to calm down.

Remind me again why the Rockets drafted yet another PF at 18 instead of a PG?

The ham's contract was bad timing. If the ham had been a free agent this year, he'd be asking for more than ten million and someone would have given it to him.
It's not the nfl. we're talking about a league where the average $alary is what, 5 million plus?

I think he gets a scola like deal and remains a rocket.

Way too much Money for Dragic. I suspect Lowry is off the table. The Rockets have the leverage here, Morey is genius.

Did you see Moneyball, remember the scenes where Billy Beane kept trying to get Art Howe to play the catcher at first base?

Good for dragic... He deserves it he put in his time and work. I don't think he gets that kind of money under the new cba but why not try.hopefully we keep him if not wish him the best.
