Did he have any personality? Most NBA players are as bland as wall plaster. "You know...like seriously...for sure" It's like none of them went to college.
All modern sportspeople not named ball tells deal in cliches and play a straight bat, he certainly lives basketball and his aboriginal culture that much was clear. He's a very proud Aussie too, spoke about how he was regularly getting Aussie items of food (Vegemite, milo etc) sent to him in oregon.
I don't know about you guys but I don't trust those Spurs role players outside of San Antinio. I think they're success has to do all with the brilliance of Pop.
I agree. It seems that a lot of people believe that a team led by Leanord and Green once their big 3 and pop retire will be able to keep putting up winning seasons. I highly doubt that. Pop runs a great system that brings out the best in everyone.
Don't underestimate what Patty Mills can do outside of the Spurs system. He plays well for the Aussie team.
Paddy Mills doesn't need a system, he just shoots. 'Cause that's his game. When he's off those circus shots he tries are frustrating to watch.
We should go after Greg Popovich first and foremost and then we will automatically have 2 or 3 Patty Mills in our roster.
In the years the Spurs don't win a championship their fans complain about Pop's coaching as much as Rockets fans do about McHale now.
i would still rather lowry or dragic, but mills would be a nice pg for us. i don't think they will resign him either. i think he and bonner are renounced (along with all other FAs) to create about $8m in cap space for them so they can go after someone like pau or mcroberts and sefalosha. josef is the next in line to be the backup PG, he's more than capable. they'll be even better next year... back to the topic... yes, if we strike out on lebron, bosh, melo, lowry, then i wouldn't mind spending our money on building a strong bench with mills, sefalosha, etc...
