Hey guys, this has been a topic on my mind lately and I wanted to get some input. The average height of a male in the US is supposedly around 5'9-5'10. I'm 5'9, but it seems like every guy around me is taller than me! I got to thinking if the average height is misleading compared to the real height of people you come into contact with everyday. So... What's your height, how old are you, and when did you stop growing?
lucky to be fair, I was always one of the tallest kids growing up. But i've been 5'9 since I was 14 and i'm 21 now... How lame lol
lol probably but actually height is misleading i think. I thought i was close to 5'10 for the longest time, but i realized it was b/c when they measure you at the doctor's office your shoes get added in. So it's more like barely 5'9 Also 5'9 is the height every 5'7 guy gives and 6'0 is the height every 5'10 guy gives.
Oh god, that's a relief. I thought you were about to start talking about your junk at first. You'll be fine, stop worrying about it.
I'm 6'1". I think I was around 5'3" or 5'4" when I started high school. Was 6'0" when I graduated. Only grew an inch after that, probably around age 19 or 20. I'm 32 now. My dad is 71. When I was growing up, he was 6' 1/2" but since he's gotten older, he's now under 6'.
Guys lie about their height? Really? Its right there, what's the point? I think kids are growing taller now, to go along with their obesity
LOL. Why do people always get offended when you say you are 6 feet tall? If you say 5'11 and a half its fine but if you say your 6 foot its like you committed a crime.
It's weird! My older brother (just turned 18) is 6'5" and is still growing and both of our parents are under 5'8".
I think I'm 6'1, never really measured my height since grade 8. But I'm taller than my 6'0 friends and quite a bit shorter than my 6'3 friend, so I guess I'm 6'1 ish. Stopped growing when I was 18, now 20
5' 11, I'm 25 I was 5'10 in 11th grade. I've grown an inch since then, not sure when i topped out though.
