I don't think this is a good trade, especially if the Hornets want a combo of 2 of 3, of Lamb / White / Donuts.

That's giving up a lot, along with Kevin Martin.

    This.

I mean Lamb could turn out to be better then Gordon. If I'm the rockets I'd rather play the wait and see game with these young high upside players.

Not to mention Gordon has been injury prone his entire tenure in the NBA and truthfully, after the McGrady and Yao era, I want nothing to do with injury prone players.

This doesn't do anything to remove the glut of tweener forwards at all, especially if it's Lamb and/or Montiejunas that goes with Martin.

Eric Gordon is not worth giving up our young players. Martin, yes.

In this trade scenario I think lamb is the safest out of the rookies why would the hornets trade for lamb if their trading for martin and having rivers as it is i really do wanna keep white but he isn't the deal breaker.

I'm tired of having injured players.T-Mac, Yao, Martin, I don't want another injury prone player. I hate to trade away our young talent before we even get to see them play summer ball.

Why the hell would the Hornets trade Gordon for just Kevin Martin in return?

Anyhow... one thing to watch: Whether the Rockets sign each of their draft picks right away. A draftee can be traded immediately if he is not signed to a contract. However, once he is signed, the Rockets cannot trade him for 30 days.

If the Rockets have a trade possibility in the works involving any of these guys, they won't sign them. Otherwise, they probably will do so ASAP (there is still another reason not to sign the draftees-- it gives you a slight bit more cap room until you sign them).

This is exactly what I'm talking about.

Everyone bashed Morey about the draft. A lot of people were saying we need to get rid of him because he "can't get it done."

Now, not even 48 hours later, people are saying that two of our rookies are worth more than Eric Gordon?

I already know what's coming next. We're going to talk about this for 4 days, the trade isn't going to happen, and everyone is going to grab their pitchforks and torches and call for Morey's head.

T-mac was the 2nd best shooting guard when healthy..........Gordon is not that.

    I would love another T-mac.

    A funny thing:

If you asked me 2 days ago whether I'd include the 16th pick in a package with Kevin Martin in order to get Eric Gordon, I'd say "sure why not" but now it's "OMG DO NOT TRADE ROYCE WHITE!!!"

Also: Hornets 24/7 mentioned pretty much all of HOU's young players except Parsons and Morris. Wonder why.
