I'm a little surprised that the Hornets don't want Lowry as well. Would be an upgrade over Jack and Vasquez.
They can have Martin, Lowry, and Scola. The Rockets are no longer an underpass shelter for bums but a rebuilding force. Lowry with that cryin, Martin with that cryin, and scola getting stomped on. Get them out of here Morey.
Hmmm. If all we give up is Jones/Ppat and Martin I might be willing to do it. I'm not interested if it involves White, Lamb or Donuts either.
Keep Jones, throw in White. Jones defense will keep him on the floor if all else fails. Worst case scenario for White is a case of the Billy Spanoulis'.
they can take anyone but motie. but if I'm maury, I sell motie to them just to mind f' them into not taking motie. Get gordon here. doubt it happens though =(
Why can’t we develop our own young talent instead of offering it up for a guy who's made out of glass and going to command a massive salary? Sick of this organization overpaying for players not worth it, just because it makes us a little better short term. Giving up guys like Lamb/White/Motie for injury-riddled Gordon…Dragic and the 16th pick for Pau…and now this ridiculous talk about offering Omer Asik $30M just because we want a center even if he's not that great. I really hope this is just conjecture by some know-nothing blogger.
I guess this is Morey's thinking. Pretty much any deal we make with Gordon the Hornets will match. Martin doesn't want to play for the Rockets so he has 0 value to the Rockets. So essentially it's 2 young players for Gordon.
Why would anyone have a hardon collider for Gordon? I watched a great deal with the Clippers and he's basically an undersized SG and he's made of glass.
I like Gordon quite a bit; he and Lamb would be quite the combo at the shooting guard position. As long as we keep Motie, Lamb, and White. I think Patterson will be expendable, as is Jones. I get the feeling Jones wasn't as high on Morey's list as the other two. If we did this, we would not be keeping Lee I imagine. Would Gordon and Bynum bring us to the promised land? Or be another awful repeat of bad luck.
