Our team would be similar to the current lakers. Bynum / Bynum. Gasol / DMo Artest / White Kobe/ Lamb Not saying our players are as good just that they are similar.
A core of Bynum, Dragic, Parsons and Lamb sounds pretty good to me. Add D-Mo, if he wasn't part of the trade, or maybe Gordon, and that's a pretty nice, young roster.
We're not getting Howard. And clear Scola and Martin today? Ambitious. Maybe starting tomorrow when your Antawn Jamisons and whatnots are off the books (when teams have cap space).
Too lazy to post from source, but Hollinger's twitter: he posted that they won'y make offer for Beasley and Randolph, and extended deadline on partially-qualified contracts of Webster and Miller while they try to figure stuff out. In case it helps ya'll wonder how this multi-team scenario might drop.
I don't like Bynum but I really want him here because he can play and will be our franchise player. But why give up Martin? He's the type of guy built to play with a post presence, he'll hit 40% of his threes and make teams pay for doubling him. He will get 20 ppg without even being the 1 or 2 option. That is one valuable player. If I were Morey, I would try to keep Kmart Dragon Martin Parsons DMO Bynum Is what I would shoot for imo
Wow, ok. No. This is either a lie or your source is stupid. I only read a few posts earlier and just skipped to replying. First, Orlando wouldn't do the trade without both Bynum and Pau during season. Why would they now accept without THE BEST PIECE in exchange for their BEST piece. This just makes no damn sense. You need better or sources or the new GM in Orlando was drugged because there is no way he keeps his job if that deal goes down.
How does Chicago shed Deng's contract? Release or trade? Your trade machine scenario has Deng going to Orlando instead of Noah. I can't stand Bynum personally, but Houston would be foolish not to do this deal. The other alternative is to trade for Noah (straight up for Martin), which would not require all the other teams. This also allows Chicago to re-sign Asik, which is their preference.
Sorry for the confusion. I initially had the Bulls trading Deng away but decided that Noah would be someone Orlando would want more than Deng.
What's proposed is certainly within the realm of possibilities. I think any deal the Lakers make sending out both Gasol and Bynum has to bring back Howard and a young quality PG (in this case Lowry) for starters or it would never happen. Howard and baggage wouldn't do it. Also i have an inkling that they would want to move Artest at this time if they could and Adelman would have interest in him as well. It's very possible that the Lakers will decide instead to move Gasol and Artest to the Timberwolves for DWilliams, Pekovic and Ridnour or Barrea. This would give them youth in Williams, a solid insurance policy for Bynum with Pekovic and Barrea or Ridnour to help with their point guard woes. And it would take a giant bite out of their cap challenges. It would give the Wolves Gasol to play center next to Kevin Love AT power forward and it would re-unite Artest with Adelman and help solidify them at the three, not to mention getting two vets with championship experience to get that team over the hump.
Oh yu got me there! Now like I said, I know our players aren't as good as the lakers. They have similarities. Comprehend McFly?
Don't dig that hole any deeper please, you sound stupid. There's a reason no one write's "you" or "u" as "yu".
No, really you and the other dumbbell do. Using yu was a play on the fact that he was calling him illiterate. As for the rest you and he obviously cant comprehend. DMo is the tall euro player like Gasol. White is the bullish alternative Mohawk dude like artest. Bynum is Bynum Lamb is the athletic slashing swingman ala Kobe. He called him illiterate because he stated he knew that they weren't as good but it was a weird kind of similarity. Then Rockets12 States.... "what's!!!!! Oh nub uhhhh" Was it really that hard.
Bynum is the only piece that is the same. The rest aren't similar and I don't know how you begin to even think they are.
