    Who cares about right now?

Look at the Rockets rotations, there is no way that trades are not made.

As of right now the Rockets do not have a center. They can trade for one and/or sign one.

For those wanting Asik, know he will never be a 35 minute a game player. He is very much a hustle player, that struggles with consistent heavy minutes and can be foul prone. He is an absolute zero on offense.

What happens if the Rockets don't get a decent center? Then we have a full blown rebuild. The Rockets will have have their team different than 13 months ago. Lamb, Jones, White, Parsons, Morris all are inexperienced.

If we are unable to land Dwight, Roy H, or Asik and we end up in rebuild mode (which I wouldn't mind) why not get a guy like Ian Mahinmi who is productive and can hold down the fort in the mean time without it being too painful for very little $.

why are people so worried about what our roster looks right now .. free agency has not even started .. jeez you would think that regular season starts tommorow..this is how ridiculous this all is .. right now (not including player options) rockets have 6 players under contract (oh nooo we are only going to play with 6 players) even assuming they sign lee, dragic, and their 3 picks and DMO that still leaves 3 spots on the roster (3 for D league) and we have 31 million committed right now and that does not include the 13 million due to kevin martin (who is either traded or amnestied in my opinion)

bottom line calm down .. roster is far from being set patterson is not going to be our starting center .. take a deep breath

Not going to happen anytime soon. We value our flexibility too much.

Who cares who the center is. Trade Scola, Lowry and KMart so the rebuilding can start now.

Forget about a true center. Motiejunas and Royce in the low post. They will not be great on defense but both players are pretty damn good on offense. Both players can pass their ass off. Both players have advanced low post skills and either can step out to the high post and handle the rock. I think they will be a nightmare for oppossing teams once they learn the NBA game.

Imagine those two bigs passing the ball back out to players like Lamb dropping bombs or Dragic who is one of the best finishers at the basket. I want to see this team grow together.

    Let the learning begin now.
