How the hell does this get two stars and my Dragic and Howard thread gets one? That thread looked good compared to this...

If Ray Allen signs anywhere it will be with Miami where he'll step right in and replace Miller.

That actually doesn't sound all that bad. The only dreamy part of it all is suddenly getting Allen and Wallace to sign with us, but we could fill both spots in free agency. I'd do this if that's what was on the table. Bynum is the best offensive big man in basketball and Gasol is efficient and may be the best passing big out there. Give each more touches by not playing with Kobe, no telling what their production might do.

I rather trade up and take Drummond than going for Bynum or Howard. If we can get Drummond he would be around for awhile while Howard probably wouldn't sign an extension with us next year.

Isn't this basically a Random Trade Proposal Thread thread?

Don't know anything about the contract issues, but seems as if Howard goes to the Lakers, Bynum goes to the Magic, and Gasol goes to the Rockets.

Why would houston help a team in their own conference? Rockets had several chances to get gasol in a straight up trade but passed... so why would the facilitate the lakers?

I just see this as an actual trade rumor... i made a trade scenario that helps all teams

LA doesn't really need Houston's help to acquire Dwight Howard. IN all honesty, if they give up Bynum and filler, it's probably done deal for both teams.

Bynum is always In foul trouble but wouldn't mind having him but gasol is garbage now and dontas is about to show the world he can play, I'd rather have josh smiths athletic posterizing ablitys instead and Steve Blake is only good at three pointers and I would much rather have ish smith back cause he's a free agent I think..

it would be a downright terrible move for the magic, it takes a team that's about 3-5 in the east and makes them about 6-8....lol

if they need to get rid of howard, they really shouldn't be looking to be "almost as good" but more like "a whole lot worse"

You think they would be better with say... Bogut/Curry, Kevin Martin/Kyle Lowry/Luis Scola or Patrick Patterson/Motiejunas, Brook Lopez/Marshon Brooks, or even Griffin and Jordan.

THere's going to be a drop off anyway without a Dwight Howard. They aren't going to place higher than 4th or 5th, anyway even with Dwight Howard.

I don't see the drawback in taking Bynum compared to some of the other offers on table
