The kids are getting paid to do what they love. This is what they've dreamed of their whole life, to say they aren't one bit excited is blasphemy.

I can guarantee you that they are all stoked to be blessed with such an opportunity, and to be part of one of the greater franchises of the NBA.

    GO ROCKETS!

WTF? Weren't you one of the Clutchfans in panic mode last night? You mean you've already flip flopped and now think this is Morey's best draft ever? Are you always this wishy washy?

I agree that 99% of pro athletes are in that boat, but there are ones that will refuse to play in certain cities (Eli Manning).

White's the only one who thinks he can crack the rotation.

Lamb and Jones has that Morris deer-in-headlight look.

Guess we know who our next All-Star is now!

As a board, we've gotta get over this inferiority complex of, "well.. if he doesn't even like our city..we don't want him!"

Get over it. We aren't Miami, LA, Chicago, Boston, or New York.

To be fair, Brian Cushion would look like a little kid sitting next to Royce White. Haha.

White is surprisingly intelligent, You see wisdom in his eyes beyond his years. I think he will be great for team chemistry as well. He saw that his team mates beside him being a little nervous with there first press conference after the draft and was trying to help them with out showing them up. I think who ever said he might be bat ***** crazy spoke to soon. I am super excited about him after watching this video. I was mad when I fell asleep last night because we took him instead of Zeller, but once again Morey will end up being smarter than me and all of the other people that were crying. Like I said earlier we will end up with one of Gasol, Asic, Kaymen, or Deandre Jordan (He isn't rumored but do be surprised if a deal centered around Him and Kevin Martin goes down.)

I said it was a good draft. I didnt call him a god. I still dont think he got a center. The best talent is what I said. I gave him a A+ on talent. maybe some of you need to listen and take the fair criticism and some praise. Its not all praise and it not all about criticism. Its about being fair and honest. That means some bad news about what Morey did and some good news. Not just one way or the other.

Some of you dont know what you read. People come in here praising we got Lamb and criticizing not picking up the center. The next day you dont want them to be excited just because they didnt completely BLOW Morey for the entire draft. It was not perfect but the talent was great. It shouldnt have been 2 forwards to add to our 5 other forwards. It was a great draft still. I dont understand whats so hard to get about that concept.

and there in lies the problem with Moreys draft.

Plus he still didnt pull off the blockbuster trade to move up or do anything about Dwight or any other star. Which is what everyone was saying he could not do and did not do.

Yes we are. We have more Fortune 500 companies headquarters then every other city in this country except for New York and 3rd place isn't even close. Who wants a player to play for our team that "doesn't want to be here."

I assume you were referring to Dwight Howard, and hey, if he doesn't want to be here then why waste the time. I would love to have him, but on the other hand, we drafted some pretty good players last night.

We obviously need a center but what can you do if things don't work out for you? You make the best with what you have.

Royce White is not quick enough to defend quicker SF, but he can defend PF, and maybe even C. Don't confuse White as a SF-defender just because he's 6'8. He outweighs a lot of centers in the NBA and he's strong as a bull. His defensive strength is definitely post defense. He may not be able to block shots, but he can be a Chuck Hayes-type of defender in the post.

Terrence Jones, on the other hand, has been reported to have SF-quickness, so he can defend SF on defense. The way I see it shaking out, White will be competing for PF playing time against Scola, Patterson, and Leuer, while Jones will be competing for SF playing time against Parsons, Morris, and Brockman (lol).

    SF- Jones, Parsons, Morris, Brockman
    PF- White, Scola, Patterson, Leuer

C- Greg Smith?, Camby, Patterson, White?
    PG- Lowry? Dragic? Livingston?
    SG- Martin? Lee?

    so many question marks....

Royce, Lamb, Jones will all be better than whoever we would have taken with the 5th pick and kept. (but probably not better than DHoward ;))

You forgot Motiejunas who is a PF. He is not a center. I repeat, not a center.

I will hate this draft less if a.) we trade away two of Lowry, Martin, and Scola; b.) we sign a FA center or trade for one; AND c.) we cut our losses with Marcus Morris.

Whatever happens, if they are serious about the talent of these guys they need to MAKE ROOM for them on the court.

We are going to have an amazing summer league team.

    C: Motiejunas
    Pf: White
    Sf: Morris
    Sg: Lamb
    Pg: Fortson

Then add in Terrence Jones and Jon Leuer off the bench.

Lamb reminds me of tmac because of his lazy eyes.

I feel white did great in his interviews.
