He's a 4 all the way. He couldn't guard a NBA swingman. That being said he's a freaking nightmare for any 4 to deal with because he's built like a truck, strong, crafty and fluid. He'll help the bench right away and he'll have an impact on the boards.

Im on teamroyce the only concern is I will get aggravated with laid back style of play. Theres going to be situations were I feel he can take control and fear he wont.

Could be,but I doubt it. To me, henson @12 would've been better. I can post highlights of henson and you can see physical talent in terms of length. Go watch henson vs kentucky defensively. Look at his spot up jumper. Look at how marshall throws the ball up towards the square and he goes and get it. Inside, he doesn't have to trick or finesse down low. If you're. Gonna play a guy like do-nuts, to me henson would've been the best choice 2 yrs from now when he gains weight. I just want people to know, I do like white, but I like. Henson a lot more.

I'm not making this up. I'm not talking about what you think about Henson. I'm explaining that Lamb would not have been on the board at 16, like you presumed. Morey even said so in his press conference. Feigen said this in his chat today. And I'm sure Clutch will say it, too.

The Rockets intel was that Phoenix was going to take Lamb...so we had to leap frog.

You don't have to believe it, but if not, tell us why you think we jumped 2 spots?

Except odom grew 8 inches in highschool, is 6'10, and was drafted #3. If odom was in this draft, he's going #2, not 16. Other than that, he's like odom and lebron.

That's fair, Once Henson packs a few pounds on he may be a steal for where they got him.

    Lamb would've been long gone @ 16.

They made the trade way before the board started moving. No one had waiters nor ross going that high. Once the board move, you re-stack. How can you have intel a week away? You get into a certain range and you have a block of guys you deem draftable. They didn't trade dally to move 2 spots thinking phoenix is taking lamb.

They had intel that Phoenix (one week out) was going to take Lamb if available.

Don't argue with me...I'm just repeating what Morey and Feigen said as reason the made the trade to the 12th spot.

His style of play is not the problem. The problem is his fear of flying. I suppose that will be okay if he only plays in home games.

Yeah, he reminds me of Brandan Wright, Dallas PF. Wright was a very frail, raw big out of UNC, went top-10 a few years back. He's finally turned the corner, and showed some flashes in Dallas this past season. I think he may have even ripped up the Rockets at one point. Still only 24 years old.

Henson will be prematurely labeled a bust, but I think he'll end up having a very solid NBA career. The Jennings-Monta show is as unpredictable as they come - they can easily explode for 50+ as a duo, or combine for tons of bricks and TOs - not the best environment for him to grow as a player.

A fellow cyclone. There aren't many "famous" people from IA State. Of course there is some guy with my same name that had a 0.9 gap and $425 in parking tickets covering that transcript. Ice/snow ball fights...frisbee golf...Grandaddy's 10 cent draw nights... Good times...

    Name: Jamal Mashburn
    College: Kentucky
    Height: 6'8"
    Position: Small Forward
    Other Positions: Power Forward
    Stengths: Versatility, Strength, Shooting, Ball-handling
Weaknesses: Perhaps leaping ability, mental attitude, average defender
    Poop:

    http://www.ibiblio.org/craig/draft/1993_draft/scout/sf.html

Jamal Mashburn finished his UK career as one of the all time greatest
Wildcat players. He finished his career leading the Wildcats to their
1st final four since 1984, and ended up the #4 leading scorer in
UK history. Mashburn is a jack of all trades. At 6'8", 235, he can
play either inside or outside. Inside, he has a variety of moves, a la
Kevin McHale, with all sorts of head fakes and turnaround moves. He
can be virtually unstoppable in the low post, especially against
smaller and weaker players. If that isn't enough, he can take his
game outside, where he can easily stroke the college 3-pter, and I
wouldn't be surprised if his range could extend to the NBA 3-pt line.
He can score from a set shot, he can score posting up, and he can score
off the dribble. He is an excellent ball-handler. Rick Pitino himself
calls him the prototype small forward in the NBA. Mashburn is a tough
one-on-one task for any defender. Not too many weaknesses on this
1st-team all-american, however, he always has been noted for a
lackadasical attitude, and is prone to "falling asleep" during games.
Doesn't really have that take-over attitude. Mashburn also has been
accused of not really being able to jump, and he doesn't block many
shots. He is an average defender at best, according to Pitino. However
his versatility is very well suited to today's NBA game, and expect him
to be one of the 1st 3, if not the 1st player picked in the 1993 draft.

How does he compare to this guy?

I was thinking the same thing. Phoenix is trying to rebuild and they need a scoring guard.

I feel like his fear is over exaggerated. Find the man the help he needs.....if Houston and LA could do it w/ Artest why can't we do it with Royce.

You know nothing. This fear is overstated. He flew to Italy without any problems for God's sake.

    Fears can be overcome.

Really hope the league does something about flopping this summer. I feel that people who defend white will just fall down when he's posting up or when he's bumping someone off and get the charge call.
