Lowry, Scola, Jones for Smith and Teague Martin, Ppat, Morris, Livingston, Dallas pick for Gasol (Don't really want him, but it looks like he's still a big target) waive Brockman Dragic/Teague Lee/Lamb Parsons/White Smith/Dmo/Leuer Gasol/Camby/G.Smith
Daryl said after the draft they could still sign a max player. I still believe Morey is working on a plan which involves signing DWill. After that, he can trade: Martin, Lowry, Patterson, Lamb and Jones to Orlando for Howard and Reddick. Scola, Morris and White to Atlanta for Josh Smith. Add future picks if necessary. DWill/Livingston (or Fortson or FA) Dragic/Reddick Parsons/Leuer Smith/Montie Howard/Camby/Smith
my brother just told me memphis declined Oj Mayos offer and now hes a free agent lol is he a want or do not want
Noah/Brewer for Martin/Morris Pau for Lowry/Scola/Patterson Dragic/Livingston Lamb/Lee Parsons/White/ Pau/Donuts/Jones Noah/Camby/Leuer I'd love it.
how about this trade: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine Chi out: Noah, Krover, Brewer Roc out: Martin, Scola, 2Pat & Morris if this happens rockets lineup: Dragic, lowry / lee / lamb parson / white / jones donuts / jones / leuer noah / smith
No thanks on any trade involving Jeremy Lamb. Dude has Superstar potential. Excellent perimeter shooting right off the bat.
So no trading a guy with superstar potential for two superstars? That's an interesting strategy. Please elaborate.
F it. It is time to trade for Gasol. WAIT!, don't flame me bro... I don't like Gasol as a fan. I want to kill his face to death. He should be a Jazz player. I sometimes hope he dies (sorry, it is true). But let's look at this. Houston needs a center and needs to clear clutter on their roster (I know Gasol is more of a PF than a center, but he is more of a center than 80% of the people who play at the 5 in this league). LA needs a point guard, wants to move Gasol, and has a lack of players and depth. The deal is too logical -- just not for as much as the Rockets were giving up last year. I would like to see Houston move Lowry, Martin, Morris and Patterson for Gasol. Okay, go ahead and flame me for a while... alright, I'll continue now. The deal would help cut some salary, would give us a 5, would start the process of clearing the glut at forward and give playing time to rookies, and would start to balance the roster out. We would have 5 forwards next season in Scola, Parsons, D-Mo, White and Jones. That is the right amount of depth and opportunity for those positions (as much as I like Leuer, the Rockets do not need to spend time finding a spot for him. If they need to they can always trade him for a future 2nd rounder I think). A team of Dragic, Lee, Parsons, Scola and Gasol backed up by Livingston, Lamb, Jones, White, D-MO and Camby would compete for the playoffs while allowing the youth on the team to develop and keep the team's ability to make major moves in the future open.
The Timberwolves are still trying to trade for Gasol. If they get him, there's a good chance Pekovic would be expendable, which would be a good opportunity for us.
Hornets just drafted Austin Rivers...I don't think they will match anything Eric Gordan signs. Might be interesting if the Rockets do go after him.
how about we try this: it should work for us. we get a "C" we need and we trade some of our Forwards. Houston Get:webster, ridnour, pekovic houston Out: scola, lowry, 2 pat, smith Min Out:Miller, Webster, Ridnour, miller, pekovic Min In:Gasol, 2pat, smith Lak Out:gasol Lak In: Scola, lowry, Brad Miller http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine ----------- what do you guys think. if possible i dont know how it works with the cap. Line up for rockets: Dragic/ livingston martin / lamb parson / webster / white /morris Donuts / Jones / morris Pekovic / Camby
maybe they might think this way they getting a well established PF starter plus a another young PF (young) instead of sending 2pat to Min, send him to Lakers. and they might change their mind.
