    It cracks me up when Morey says this.

    The above quote is what good teams say. Teams that don't need Rookies to be successful.

    With us...at least give the Rooks a shot and see what they can do.

    We're currently the 9th best team in the Western Conference. Put Jeremy Lamb and Royce White on the floor and see what they can bring us.

    The only way they'll develop is through playing time. They get no better as basketball players playing D League ball or running the Scout Team.

    I totally understand the mindset of wanting players to earn playing time...but I would find it hard to believe that Lamb and White can't get some real PT with the roster we currently have.

    There's no reason why minutes can't be split up between all our players. We're not (currently) better than an 8th seed. Give the kids some playing time and see if they develop. If they do, great! If not, we'll just have a higher pick next draft. Playing the hell outta our vets in order to stay at 500 is just not worth it.

    Jeremy will certain take whoever is ahead of his playing time. He's got great basketball fluiidity, and IMO is one of the stars in this draft. I think his caliber will be between Ray Allen and Rip Hamilton.

    just let them play all year. we need a new coach that wont depend on vets to win games. we need a coach that can mentor a young team, like OKC did.

    but seriously, we're like all forwards in this team.

    I'm just as upset at our current situation as the next "Red-Blooded Rocket Fan", I wish EVERY superstar wanted to play for us but reality states otherwise....I come here to learn and have a good time with other Rocket fans and if this forum gives you high blood-pressure maybe it's time to take a break.........Peace to all!
