At this point, I'm pretty sure that I'd rather have Wade run the Rockets.

    :)

Yeah, after messing up the tanking, let's rebuild through mid-teen drafts while keeping win-now advertisement.

now that's weird. This team has no plan.

We got one undersized PF (White) and one full sized PF (Jones) and one reed thin SG (Lamb)

Yeh - he should be able to get whatever we want whenever we want it.

Oh well, at least he didn't make a successful trade and have it declined for "basketball reasons".

I was just answering why most people are upset. People wanted Kmart/Scola/Lowry gone. They are still here.

Heck I'm the same as most of them! I want them gone too - however I'm not so tightly emotionally strung that I freak out if we don't manage to offload them via the draft (the least likely way to get rid of them!)

I didn't expect much to happen. However, with so much hype from the media about the Rox and their multiple trade "possibilities," I can see why people are upset.

My only comfort is that this could be the draft that gets boy wonder fired. That this could be the draft that gets Mr PETA to wake up and realize how stupid he is for trying to win meaningless regular season games. They Rockets are going to continue seeing an empty arena until they get fans/customers excited, and these disappointing/boring drafts aren't going to do it.

There's always D-Mo. At least boy wonder hasn't traded him. Yet.

I watched a few of White's youtube videos (I know, I know, it makes me an instant expert..) and he's definitely got the handles to be a SF in this league. Better handles than Marcus Morris for sure and not a complete tweener.

Both Lamb and White are top 5 talents in most drafts. You didn't need to tank (unless you wanted to get Dwight Howard with your own damn 5th pick)...but then I doubt Dwight stays.

I have to laugh at all the draft gurus on this thread trashing Morey for not taking Perry Jones III in the early teens when he was nearly left out of the first round. I'm also laughing at the criticism that our center position was addressed because we didn't draft Tyler freaking Zeller.

Just maybe, Morey and his staff have a little more access and information to these players than we do. We should probably act like it too.

We needed (and still do) a legit five and White has "issues". Jesus, didn't we learn anything with Eddie Griffin.
