Why do people start threads and not offer their own view on the question they ask or even vote in the polls they create?

As I said in the draft thread, so far Morey's strategy of collecting assets and trading into the top 10 or flipping them for a star has failed...again. Can't wait to see what the apologists have to say now.

Did we get a center? were there quality center prospects available?

I'll hold off with my opinion until I find out if the Rockets made a trade. When will we find out?

I wouldn't say disaster yet. I think a trade I coming of some kind. Now if u ask me are those the 3 players I would've drafted? No. I though henson at 12 because the 3 teams behind houston would pass on lamb. I knew an athletic big with his iq would be gone. I'm surprised portland passed. They could had a small lineup of lilliard,wes,batum,henson,l.a. that's pretty good right there.

Two PFs yes. Lamb no. I dont know. With so many Pfs he might hit on one of them though. I guess I see how he can attack and find the one he wants finally with so many at his disposal. I just wished he had taken Zeller and this whole draft would have had a different tone if it was Lamb, Zeller, and his as usual PF fetish.

    After seeing this:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Karnisovas says the plan is to keep all 3 picks.</p>&mdash; ClutchFans.net (@clutchfans) <a href="https://twitter.com/clutchfans/status/218519145258553344" data-datetime="2012-06-29T01:39:58+00:00">June 29, 2012</a></blockquote>

    Yes, I'm perplexed.

Lamb and White are both great picks. Not just based on where they were drafted, but how they will translate to the NBA and contribute to winning basketball. Lamb has a higher ceiling than the guys picked between 4-11, and White is like a basketball Ricky Ross.

Jones is a weak pick, but it's pretty obvious he was picked for another team.

    Trades are coming.

    I would say so

Going from the expectations of Josh Smith or Dwight Howard.. to 2 undersized PF's cant get much worse

I was not too optimistic about reeling in Howard and DWill. But the prospect of bringing in 3 young prospects had me giddy.

I was hopeful for Austin Rivers, PJIII and the 3rd coulda been whatever.

How I am having flashbacks of Dickerson, Drew and Turckan... while Rashard Lewis sits in the green room miffed...

I was hopeful until they had a presser to say they were going to stand pat with these 3. I'm sure they'll do a lot of trades and we won't go into the season with so many rookies. But, it still makes draft nigth a complete and utter disaster.

A nail in the coffin for Morey, in my eyes. Two more (end of offseason and trade deadline), and we should bury him.
