They put up the same exact stats per 36 minutes... except Dalembert is a MUCH better shot blocker.

And he's on a shorter, cheaper contract.

The point is we are a rebuilding team and don't need a 30 year old solid big that doesn't make us a contender. Packaging #12 for a high pick would be way better for our future, a move for Varejao is pointless.

Nice, lets get him so we can maintain our play and pick up the 14th pick next year again and be 9th seed out in the west. He will definitely help us do that.

I actually think we should ignore Dwight and just go for young talent.

That's why I said high pick. I love this draft and want at least two high picks.

Drummond is a good pick up.
I'm actually interested in Dion Waiters as well, too bad that won't happen.

    FACTS

*Yep, proven that he has played 56 games in two years.
*He will be on the wrong side of 30 by the time the new season rolls around, considering his play is mainly hustle. yeah pass.

Morey should be immediately fired if this is even considered

This has to be BS....we can just resign Camby to do what he does.

Im under the impression that there is more to the trade that 12 for Varejao...You cant have a team full of young guys with little experience. A 30 year old isnt "old"...and it gives us a veteran player who hustles his ass off. I would expect that we are actually doing Cleveland a favor by taking on his contract, so I would then expect to give up more assets to receive something like the #4 pick.

Right, because I forgot that the #12 pick will definitely get us into the playoffs!

Morey wants the #2 pick so that he forces Sac to tade him the #5 pick. He is going to hold Sac hostage by telling them he will draft Robinson at #2 if Sac don't finalize the trade for #5 before the draft begins. Then we just draft Beal and Drummond and call it a day. Thats my theory anyway.
