If the Rockets trade for the 5th..what will stop them from trading for the 2nd? Maybe they can beat Cleveland's offer.

Agreed RT @rick_bonnell: From what I hear, Houston isn't nearly as close to acquiring the No. 5 pick as is being portrayed in some quarters.

This is going to be the most disappointing offseason based on potential. It's not bc of a lack of effort, but damn!!

I don't think other GM's are fools, but as Morey has said many times, the deadlines are important because teams will ask for more than they're actually willing to take up until then.

If the guy Sacto wants is off the board, they'll probably trade down for a lower price than they're asking now. We need sit tight so that we don't overpay.

Same airhead said we were trying to get Gasol. His sources suck.

Sam Amick can go die in a grease fire. He's done nothing but rain on our parade through it all.

Remember Amick is a former beat writer for the Kings. He gets lots of stuff leaked to him from the Kings. Wouldn't surprise him if they're using him for leverage here.

Parsons and Motiejunas, sort of make sense. Teams just aren't in dire need of a point guard, moreover posters need to be honest with themselves, Kyle Lowry is not a superstar or even perennial all-star this point in his career.

As weird as it sounds I don't think teams would hesitate to trade that pick for Westbrook or a Rondo caliber player, while even sometimes would even consider trading for Lin (because of the economic impact).

He is one dimensional. Clear enough? Moneyball is the only method he uses to make his moves.

Rockets having a hard time getting that pick from Sacramento. They've been "close" how many times in the past few days, only not to be not-so-close.

Rockets tried to acquire the ____ pick from ___ but talks broke down.

Looks like some rotten luck for Houston, ha.

I just want to take the opportunity in this brief lull before the storm to thank Clutch for giving Rockets fans such a great forum and for including the ignore function.
