Marc Stein: Kings won't decide whether to do deal w/Rockets until draft starts but sources say they'd be walking away from "a lot" if they pass 3 minutes ago
I'm scared now. What is a "lot"? No matter what it sounds like we won't be robbing anybody through trades tonight. My guess is the top 2 picks and Lowry for 5. They had better make it count.
Lowry, #12, #16, and one of Patterson/Morris is ok. Makes me a little nervous, but I can live with it. DMo would make me against this trade.
It does depend a lot on MJ and the 'Cats though. Robinson could drop to 5...Wiz could go after him but remember they did bring in Nene and Okafor...not really a position of need...MKG makes a ton of sense for the Wizard. We shall see...hopefully MJ does the right thing and chooses the guy who has been the consensus #2 for a long time but it seems Beal has been shooting up the F'n boards.
I can't believe the #5 would cost that much more than Lowry. I'm pretty pissed, but at least Morey's willing to go to bat to rebuild.
Pleeaasseeee no drummond... i dont want a project that will take 5 yrs and still might not become anything...
I don't think MKG make sense for the Wiz (as a DC resident). They are loaded with SFs that can't shoot. They need shooters. Robinson would still be a possiblity, even with Nene.
That is a good point. I just think the Bobcats is the primary destination for Robinson. The problem with the Bobcats are the teams trading up. Hopefully they will keep the pick and take Robinson then if the deal is dependent on him not being there.
