1st place. Like in auto racing, the driver that wins the pole position in the practice run, wins the starting spot in the race.

if you want to keep dm yes. But remember root that the lolcats don't trade out of the 2nd pick otherwise Robinson will drop into the kings lap.

So if kings draft drummond can we assume that's a rockets pick?

Yuck. I want Beal or Robinson, but giving up Lowry and multiple picks for another guy wouldn't really seem worth it.

That's right -- let's put THEM in the "pole position" for a change.

I'm not too optimistic about this one and I think it's only for Dwight or taking a player other teams want and try to get them to trade a good player along with picks.

Racing term. Before the race they have a qualifying round and are started based on times. Pole position starts off at the front of the pack.

The truth is if Morey drafts Drummond, we are officially rebuilding. I don't care who Morey gives up as long as it isn't D-Mo.

No, if Thomas Robinson goes top 4 and doesn't drop to the Kings they ARE making the trade. So if you want the number 5 pick, we have to root for Robinson to go top four.

I like that. That means the Kings only have 5 minutes when it comes to the 5th pick what to do. And people usually act out of desperation at that point.

That would be a good deal, IMO, because then you could trade Lowry for the 7th or 8th pick, and have 2 top 10 picks.
