I never never said that they were lucky. Htown was the one saying lucky. It is not a homer thing to say since I'm not German. I still feel germany was the better team, however they didn't score the goals, and Italy countered great ans scored beautiful goals. Germanys defense is not as great as the Italians I just prefer the offensive game of the germans over the counter attack of Italy.
I love you, too, leroy. Italy plays the same USA style of game... defense, defense, one counter... GOAL. You should love them. I like it how LUCKY beautiful counterattacks fall right on lucky players who are in the right place at the right time and luckily shoot at a luckily empty side of the unlucky goal. :grin:
Say what you want, but Italy has come to play and they are creating some nice chances. Germany is playing well but not capitalizing.
The problem is that it's Lahm and he pushes forward all the time so that leaves them exposes on the left side. Even more now since they are pushing the whole team forward to hopefully get a goal.
I wouldn't go so far to say their best player. Ozil is by far their best player in my opinion. He is a magician at creating for them and one of their most consistant players.
No Ozil always disappear in the most important games for his club and national team as you see there again Actually, any german fan would get prime time Ballack over him 24/7
