I just had a radical idea from leftfeild. What if the rox were able to trade up and get the #2 pick and then trade it to OKC for James harden. I just heard on espn I think it was chad ford saying they want beal to replace harden. I would then consider Gasol if I couldn't get howard. With harden and Gasol our lineup is Gasol Montijunas Parsons Harden Dragic I could totally live with that But again this is a hypothetical hopeful brainfart
Gasol maybe soft, but he isn't a scrub. Most of the space in the paint is bynums; therefore,Gasol can't find a rhythm so his game really takes a hit. Like most players, if gasol isn't feeling it offensively then his defensive effort becomes nonexistent. I'd take gasol but not at the expense of trading Lowry AND draft picks. Lakers are dreaming. Big hypotheses,what if a pairing of Kg and gasol? Try and keep two picks? It's not impossible.

Lowry+16+ morris/pat to Sac for 5 and possibly Hayes Martin +12 + morris/pat to GS for the 7 We draft Drummond and Barnes with the 5 and 7 ... with the 18th we draft Wroten Dragic/Wroten Lee/Barnes/Wroten Parsons/Barnes Scola/D-mo/Hayes Camby/Drummond tell me that the potential in that roster isnt just filthy.

B/c bobcats are being greedy. They want to dump tyrus Thomas' contract on them and they don't know if they want/ have the $ to commit to harden. So if the rox want the 2 pick we might have to swallow thomas' contract. Another crazy idea I had is to trade the 16 th pick and Lowry to Toronto for the 8 th pick. Hope beal drops to 4 to the cavs Then trade the 8th&12th pick + Kevin Martin to the cavs for the 4rth pick and varejo. Then trade the 4rth pick for James harden. With all that's said against Austin River's draft stock, the kid has the right mentality. He wants to be the best. Wouldn't be upset to see him in a Rockets jersey
A few things on that. 1) Martin can not net you Varejo. 2) 8 and 12 can not net you 4. So, since Martin < Varejo and 8+12< than 4, then that trade would never happen. Plus, Cleveland really wants Beal is what I read. And why would they go for a one year deal of a player like Martin when they could just draft Beal who plays the same position and can grow up with Irving in the NBA. Also, I don't think there is any chance Beal falls to 4. He should, since I think he is being over-rated by a lot of teams, but I think he goes 2 or 3.
Yeah thats the main hangup .... but alot of mocks ( fords for example ) are projecting GS to take waiters so why not get a ready/ and perfect for their system SG in Martin. Any ideas on a possible 3rd team ?
