I'm guessing if this trade went down and if the pick didn't work this year they would then trade it for next's years 2nd overall pick...and the cycle would go on until a pick works out. kahn is pure genius.

Any the Rockets have a lot of pieces to fit those holes! Kmart-SG Scola-PF Lowry-PG PPat-PF Morris-SF
Haha they can have all of our picks plus Kyle Lowry, Kevin Martin, and Luis Scola. But they don't want that. Our so call special assets are not that special to other teams.
If we get #2 and draft Beal I will go nuts!! They have Kemba Walker so I don't think Lowry is going to cut it. Maybe Parsons, D-Mo & #12 & a top 10 pick would do it..what you guys think?
You know, the Bobcats are smart to trade away their 2nd pick for mutiple picks this year. I much rather have multiple top 10 picks rather than the 2nd pick itself. Most likely, the 2nd pick end up to be a bust and usually the players after the 2nd pick ends up with a much better career than the 2nd overall pick aside from Kevin Durant (who suppose to go #1 overall). I can go on with the major 2nd overall bust: 1984 draft, 2003 Nba draft, 2009 draft. I know there are more but you get the point. Theres a lot more pressure for a team to pick the 2nd overall pick in the draft when the 1st pick is a sure thing and the 2-10 picks can go anywhere.
why is this such a bad trade.. Derrik Williams was the no 2 pick last year...and has a year of experience under his belt and I dont see any player at the top that has more upside that williams...I wouldnt do the deal either...because I think the bobcats can get more. but its not a ridiculous trade
