The shot clock is 24 seconds in Europe too. The game lasts 40 minutes, not 48, so there's the difference.

No, deal. We just drafted Motie and he is going to be a part of our core for the future.

Will he still come to the NBA if he's traded to Sacramento?

How this would be worse? with this we would get 2 lottery picks which we can turn them around and trade them to Orl + pat pat + morris + martin. for Howard & turk. and we will still one pick with us #16.

You know, we don't have to worry about trading for the 5th pick and whom we're giving up to the Kings if the Rockets would have played their youngs this season and started on the rebuilding process at the beginning of this year because it was a shorten season.

But because the Rockets believed that they are playoff contenders, they tried to win as many meaningless games even though they don't have a shot, they again ended up with the 14th pick 3 years in a row and again they are desperately trying to trade up again. If somehow the Rockets can't make a trade for the upper top 8 picks this year, I hope they realized that and seriously start rebuilding this year so next year they can have a shot at a high lottery pick and find a player they can finally build around.

I know many of you guys want Dwight Howard but no point of having him if we're going to give up all our picks along with some of our good young players for a guy that just going to be a one year rental, plus coming out of a back surgery that sidelined him the rest of last season. Dwight Howard said he is pretty sure he will be back in time for the start of the season but even if he starts at the beginning of the regular season, it doesn't mean he is in full shape. Plus by the time he's fully healthy, the Rockets would be behind and they will be playing catch up the rest of the year.

Having a guy like Dwight Howard doesn't make you contenders immediately in one season, If they want to be serious contenders instead of media attention go getters, they will need at least 2-3 seasons with Dwight to fully become major contenders. Having Dwight Howard, the Rockets will need at least 1 to 2 seasons with him to know what pieces that will fit in well with Dwight. What players play well off him and what players doesn't play well with him. They will need to find the right type of offense they can run him in and find the players to carry the load. You can't win it all with Dwight in one year. Look at the Heat, they had 2 of the top 5 best players in the league plus a Bosh and they didn't win it all their first year. OKC Thunders have the 2nd best player in the league and one of the top 5 PGs, the best sixth man and a great all around team and they didn't win it their first few years. They still need time and more experience.

Dwight Howard went to the Finals once and they got swept. So much for being the best Center in the league when your team got swept in the Finals. Plus Dwight Howard is still immature and I think he is selfish. All that trouble going on in Orlando right now is all caused by Dwight Howard. We already had that problem with Tmac so there's no way Dwight Howard is going to be any different. Dwight is the type of guy you cannot convince him to play for a certain team, no matter what you do. He is like a kid once his mind is made up. Trust me, Orlando is trying everything they can to make him stay but he's walking next year. Im sure the Rockets are not going to do any better than the Magic in convincing him so if the Rockets gets him, they're going to regret it next season.

Sometimes I really feel like Morey is trying to satisfy the fans and owner by making a short term plan. He's only thinking of today and worrying about the future later. I really hope Morey is making moves that will not only help today but the future of this team as well. Because I don't want the Rockets to be decent now and all of a sudden deep in the hole in the future because he's just trying to satisfy the hungry fans now.

Don't want to trade Donuts, big men with his skill level are rare, I like his potential.

That said I'd trade pretty much anyone else to get up to 5, assuming Drummond is the target and still there. You have to think Lowry would interest the Kings in some capacity. They need a PG, Tyreke is not that.

I want Drummond/Donuts front line, so it'll never happen but that's what I want.

This has always been the case in past drafts. Generally teams at the top will ALWAYS keep the pick til the last minute because you never know if someone you like drops.

The reason Sacramento is even trading the pick in the first place is because if the draft goes chalk, meaning Davis, Robinson, Beal, and MKG in whichever order, they don't really like Barnes or Drummond. I would not be surprised at all if the Kings and the Rockets have a deal in place contingent on how the draft unfolds.

At the end of today. I hope Martin and/or Lowry are in a new home.
