Work on your "should I post this or not" filter. Your response doesn't even answer the OP's question. Quality over quantity. I always have my browser open at work. More so this week than usual though. Is exciting.
so true!!!! NBA draft week and I'll add NBA trade deadline week are the two most exciting times of the year for the Rockets going into our second decade.
It takes skills man. IMO - The most important thing is seating arrangement, really important. Then you need take care of IT staff monitoring web traffic. You also need to be aware of your surroundings and environment. Tips from my years of experience. 1. You shouldnt sit somewhere where your screen is visible to others. 2. You need to sit somewhere where you can see and hear people coming and going, so you can quickly flick back to your work apps. 3. Identify potential snitches and haters and stay away from them. 4. Try make friends with the IT geeks and ask them not to monitor your traffic. 5. There are many more tips, I cant remember all right now. If you get caught, dont act all guilty and quickly close the site then flick back to your work. Gotta be smooth about it. Just keep looking and pretend nothings wrong. Everyplace is different, office layout, staff, IT policies. But as the saying goes ....... where there is a will - there is certainly a way.
Repped for the Naked Gun reference. My boss is out of town for 2 weeks, so this couldn't work out any better. Also helps that this is our slowest time of the year. I'd like to apologize in advance to the rest of the bbs for my post count exploding for the next 2 weeks.
