Really wouldn't put it past Golden State at 7. They aren't drafting Drummond.

    This.

Would be pretty nice. I am convinced when tomorrow is said and done... that this team will be vastly improved.

The best thing about the team is it will also set other moves up. If Morey can pull off some more deals to get us in top 10. Then its a huge success.

Jason Lloyd: #Cavs draft: All signs pointing to MKG, but Waiters looming as this year's shocker.

Why would it be Lowry/Dragic? Waiters is a sg first but could possibly play some point if needed.

Bottomline, Morey's rear is in the wringer and he is going all out to create a game changing splash. If he comes up empty, he might not have another chance. I understand that Less loves him, but Less loves money more than morey. I am expecting something really radical; things can't stay the same. We have been watching a good deal of "shuffling" since Morey has been here, but it appears that he is about to cash in his chips.

Waiters is a high usage player, he needs the ball as much as Irving. It doesn't make sense.

I don't think Irving necessarily needs the ball in his hands to be successful. He is a great shooter and a serious threat spotting up off the ball. It will be no worse of a situation than when Harden and Westbrook are on the court at the same time.

The team has turned a profit every year recently.

Residuals from the "Yao era?" Attendance will plummet without a huge upgrade in talent and performance. I think the franchise is at a "tipping" point. They have to upgrade.

Les is anywhere near firing Morey? No way.

Morey's style might not make sense to a lot of y'all, but Les totally gets it. Morey has improved things here every year, though it hasn't shown up in the win/loss columns.

All the stuff that we're talking about Morey being able to do right now, is because of the moves Morey has made over the last few years.

It's been obvious to me (to pat myself on the back), and I know damn well it's been clear to Les. If nothing else, Les understands the concept of VALUE.

Of course they are looking to upgrade talent. What do you think the trades that already happened and the effort to make further trades are about? As far as attendance and income, though, I just don't see it as a motivating factor right now. Houston is a big enough market that I don't think they are suffering cash-flow-wise even now. Besides, a team just can't let fan sentiments and short-term ticket sales dictate roster decisions.

We are going to end up with the #5,#6, and #7 picks and use them. Trade Louise Scola, PPat, and #12 to Sacramento for for Chuckwagon, Travis Outlaw and #5. Trade Kevin Martin, Laur, #16, and a second round pick for Biedrens, Dorell Wright, and the #7 pick. Trade Kyle Lowery, Marcus Morris, and the #18 for the #6. Who we take depends on who is chosen 1-4.duh.
