Well! If you're a Jack Daniels drinker, I can forgive you for being a Morey-hater.

Even for the 5th pick? You gotta roll the dice a little. You play it safe and you get a repeat of the last 3 years. But this time on purpose. All or nothing for me.

Thanks. I love Morey. I will send him a present if he drafts in the top 10.

5th pick depends on the draft pool available. You could have gotten a crystal ball and you would still gotten trash if you picked number 5 in say, Kwame Brown's draft.

In this draft picks 6-10 could be better than picks 2-5, the only sure thing is Davis. Who knows, the 2nd best player could be Lilliard. Or it could be Terrence Ross. Or it could be Royce White. Anyway DMO is already a 7 footer with polished perimter and low post skills, I don't know why you would want to trade him away for another project. Like what the other poster said, I'd trade DMO only if Cousins were included in the deal, then we could reunite PP and Cousins and maybe Hayesfan would start posting here again.

Im utterly shocked at the ridiculous praise DMo is getting...

I mean, Im a major homer, but the crap Im reading in this thread is beyond ridiculous.

I would happily toss DMo, an unproven NBA player, for the #5 pick...which could either net us a top 5 player (unproven like DMo) or it could net us Dwight Howard, a proven NBA star.

I disagree. I think there are clearly up 3 guys better than everyone else in this draft to me.

    Thomas Robinson
    Bradley Beal
    Harrison Barnes

Those guys are besides the top pick and if we can land one? We may have a potential star.

I think the #5 pick is top 5 talent this year.

I would only do if a.) either Harrison Barnes or Beal is still available at 5. I'm not sold on Drummond.

b.) if we can package the #5 pick for Howard

NO! Just use the 14th, 16th and 18th!!! Forget all this Howard crap.... I may be in the minority but I do not want to take a chance on some body who does not want to be here!

With the depth of this draft we should be able to land some really good players with these picks. If they do trade up for Drummond.. KEEP HIM!!!

We still have pcs to trade for some vets...

    Just my O

I might throw in Lillard too. I just have a hard time thinking he is on the same level as those 3 right now. He is is also about around that area. Everyone else is a role player prospect to very good.

Personally, I do think Motiejunas is a little overrated on Clutch Fans and cringe when he is compared to Nowitzki and Gasol, BUT ... the kid has potential that I cannot deny, nor can the Kings, which is why they probably won't settle for picks or even a modest deal with Lowry. As good of player Lowry is, you can find players who can produce similar results or give and equal level of production. With Motiejunas, he does possess some rare qualities for a big man, while he's game is actually a good compliment to Cousins, since he likes to play on the perimeter a little more.

Cousins and Motiejunas, together sounds promising.

I doubt Motiejunas will stay on the team, anyway, if the Rockets do end up with Dwight Howard. I cannot see Orlando not asking for him and or Parsons with picks for Howard.

All this says is that reality clause is coming into play again, and fantasy, one-sided trades are still a rarity for the most part.

Anything to get two top 6 picks. Anything but Dragic and Parsons. Barnes and Drummond.
