    Probably a reasonable philosophy.

    Farewell Chandler Parsons. :(

I was actually summarizing all the picks we currently have to our disposal, and the only players we had to give up to obtain them.

CP knows what's up. Was high on Leuer last year, stoked about him being a rocket, and that ~500k a year cap hit. For those saying meh to him, he produced like it was his last day everytime he got minutes. Blue collar doesn't get you to the top on it's own, but it's necessary in order to get there.

    Player: "But Morey, WHY?"
Morey: "Because **** YOU, that's why"

Players don't give a **** about the GM. Players worry about what kind of coach the team has. Maybe they do care about the GM and their ability to make good moves which Morey is a master at. But other than that, it's not a reason why players won't want to join a team.

    If ...

    #12 + #16 + #18 to Sacramento for #5
Lowry straightup to Portland for #6

Who would you pick with #5 and #6? Who would Morey pick?

Is this a little like what the day before D-day felt like?

Except that virtually no one knew it was the day before D-Day.

    Davis
    Robinson
    Kidd-Gilchrist
    Barnes

We take Beal and Drummond. Would be so stoked with those two.

    Dwill and Dhoward

JK, probably Barnes/MKG (whoever falls. If Beal falls, then pick him without a doubt) and someone not named Drummond. I'm not sold on Drummond at all.

    just a bit misleading =)

i mean i love all these moves and i think morey is doing a fine job, but i don't think trading dally, chase and 14 to get 12 and 18th is that huge of a improvement to our team (unless something else happens of course) to warrant that kinda praise

Very hard to say because this draft could go any where after Davis is off the board.

I'd take Drummond and Lamb though. That is if someone like Beal doesn't fall...who knows.

not a good idea to be welcoming players in this revolving door that has become the predraft offseason.
