But they get Brockman, too! :p

Maybe, if we take Garcia back? Would cut into our cap room, but would give us an expiring to trade.
Maybe offer #12, #18 and the Mavs pick instead of #12, #16.

Just because he hasn't played in the NBA doesn't mean that he is a downgrade, let alone a big one.

    Wish that where the rockets!

I really do think a frontcourt of Patterson&Cousins is championship quality.

Maybe not now but in a few years with the right pieces.

It is all about who you know and your ties these days. I bet the Kentucky crew Want to all be on the same team some day Wall, Harrellson, Miller.

Among several avenues the Rockets are exploring would be a trade with Sacramento for the No. 5 pick in a deal that likely would send Tyreke Evans to Houston, sources said. The teams have discussed several scenarios, and while one person briefed on the talks described the deal as "getting close," rival executives have gotten the strong impression that the Kings are steadfastly resisting the Rockets' overtures. Straight up Salary dump plus two picks to keep for our selves. 12, 16, 18 picks will most likely be used in trades. So we keep 21st and 22nd for our selves and take Jeff Taylor and Fab Melo.

Boston can absorb his contract if they want. He would be a massive massive upgrade over Bass (he has opted out anyways). They resign KG to play at 5 and Boston is back in business.

    Rondo, Bradley, Pierce, Scola, KG.

Patterson + #12 + Future 1st rd pick (from Dallas) for #5 and Chuck

    Lowry + #16 for #8

    then either:

    a) #5, #8, #18, Morris, D-mo, (possibly Martin) for Dwight, (possibly Turkoglu)
    b) Keep #5 and #8 for yourself, trade Scola for cap flexibility next summer and jumpstart rebuilding. I know Les prefers option A, but I think Morey might have sold him on this draft based on the Budinger and Dalembert trades (since there is no guarantee Dwight will be available and we are trading key pieces away for draft picks).
