leuer can give you dalembert numbers at 1/4 the price and give them to you more than once every five games. Mauryball! The others are for later use.

Maybe Morey's strategy is to play leap frog with teams. It's a lot easier to convince a team to drop 2-3 spots than 6-8. If he can inch closer and closer, we can eventually get a very nice pick.

I don't think y'all are realizing what a score Leuer is as a "throw-in". You don't get handed a 15+ PER 6'10" rookie AND move up in the draft for an inconsistent back-up center often.

So we essentially gave up Dally and 1 million bucks to move up 2 spots?

I'm guessing we are going to add another center one way or another.

    14 becomes 12.

Teams over the cap could want to trade for Livingston and Brockman as it won't eat into their MLE.

Bingo - the three best centers, Drummond, Leonard and Zeller would have probably been gone by 14. With this trade, we are virtually guaranteed to have one of them left for us. We got in the predicament when New Orleans traded Okafor and became positioned to pick a center at 10.

Anyone else think we are just making as many trades as possible just because our big trade last year got vetoed?

Man if Lowry can be dealt for the 5th or 6th pick and Martin for the 7th or 8th
The Rockets will be on track to get DH but will it really happen? I can't wait for the draft tomorrow.

I see a pattern of 2’s so can I assume the next trade gets us the 10th pick and the trade after that will be the 8th pick?
