Interesting. They have the 12 pick which coincides with our "every other" draft pick strategy we have going right now.
We should find some way of exacting retribution for their giant choke-job down the stretch which turned our Knicks' pick into a mid-rounder
Hmm... wonder what a deal would involve with them. Their highest pick is #12, so we wouldn't really get anything of value there.
In the last two seasons the son of the Chicken Man has been putting up percentages similiar to his 20ppg season.
We could get that 12th pick and couple it with another pick to move up in the draft. Or, maybe three picks plus a player can get us the #2 pick.
Might be a post-July Moratorium trade, in which Dalembert actually gets KEPT at his (actually somewhat reasonable) $6.7M salary for 2012-13. I just don't see any very appealing draft day trades that the Rockets can make with Milwaukee. The Bucks are over the cap, and there aren't many/any contracts I'd like to see Houston taking back from Milwaukee. Eh. I'd probably rather see whether Dalembert can be packaged with a pick to move up a little. (Again, Dalembert + #18 for the Bucks' #12 pick doesn't work under the cap.)
Hows many picks will it take to get Jsmooth and Howard here...Whatever it takes, make it happen Morey
Not trying to be a jerk -- I just don't fully trust Gery Woelfel, to be honest. He posted some bad info once (I think about Jordan Hill being in the Gasol trade or something?) and after talking with some media, I learned not to pass along his stuff. Hope he earns some trust here though ... would like to see a suitor for Dalembert.
Bima beat to it, but I already typed it so here it goes: The Bucks have no cap room (yet), so either you trade say #18 and Dalembert for #12 and Udrih, who has one year left on his deal before or on draft night OR you (agree to the trade before the draft, select for each other on draft night and) trade Dalembert for a TPE on July Moratorium.
