Not only that, but we could be well on our way to that as soon as Friday.

Much more rational than destroying your team for 4-10 more years, when they are close to being relevant now. A lot of teams won't draft 3-5 rookies, but those teams are not in the Rockets position.

I never heard before where drafting multiple rookies in a deep draft was a bad thing. Especially on a mediocre team. People act like we have the OKC Thunder roster already.

I keep hearing it has something to do with playing time, but we currently have 4 d-leaguers on the squad.

I think the roster needs to be cleansed anyways. Give these young guys the time on the court. That way next year we have a high draft pick again. Then we also have some young talented guys making names for themselves. Its time to go ahead and trade even more veterans in my opinion to make that happen.

Good point. I have never thought of this because i assume that we will still have the same starting line-up.
You are absolutely right. It is time for a full rebuild, because we will have to wait years for the chance to do it again.

I couldn't care less if we built our team through the draft, through trades, or through free agency. Makes absolutely no difference to me, as long as I like the results.

I don't get it. Several posters seem adamant to remain ignorant to the fact that, with his bird rights, he'd be leaving 25-30 mil on the table by walking out on the team. What more convincing would he need?

I'd call his bluff all day every day.

Initially any ambitious, suave guy in his 20s might be put off by Houston, but I have no doubt Dwight will soften his stance after a year in this majestic city. After all, Houston has

    -Outback steakhouse
    -An ice skating rink
    -Saltgrass steakhouse
-A world class ghetto around it's premier public university, the University of Houston, where pro athletes like Carl Landry have received honorary gunshot wounds
    -Texas land and cattle steakhouse
-No shortage of shapeless, homely women
-A monorail it's citizens are extremely proud of
-Strong artsy scene of smoking pot in one's $2,000 car, with $8,000 rims, listening to music "screwed and chopped", yelling chunk that deuce negro, and subsequently chilling
-Montrose, a large intellectual gay community with little asian boys running around doing errands for their "mentors"
-A group of 50 fans called the rowdies that come to every game to cheer amongst an empty stadium of yawns and BBMers
-No legacy of big men to live up to

Once this all soaks in, and the fact that Dwight can get a $4 million bachelor pad with a view of an organized community and leathery old white women on Waugh Dr instead of an $18 million penthouse at Trump World Towers with a view of ... a bunch of tall, historic buildings and billboards with worldly models walking around in DKNY and Coogi, Dwight isn't going anywhere.

    He's all ours guys.

Between him and Aldridge, the Rockets should just sink themselves next to the Titanic.

Rockets are a like a 40 year old widow whose Yao Ming got shot at a young age and they never got to build their nest egg

Rockets is going out clubbing every night trying to land a man thinking she's as hot as she was when she was with Yao 5 years ago and she's not
