    I wish they were still on 740. I can't pick up any other Houston AM stations in the Beaumont area and no stations carry the games in this area.

    610 won't care and it doesn't matter to them, they already talk about texans 95% of the time year round

    Yea, I'm a bit suprised and dissapointed that most of Houston's sports radio stations are on AM. I live in Dallas and the big stations here are on FM. Not to mention we actually have a legit ESPN radio station here.

    790 steals the best hosts from 610, now stealing the Rockets.

    When is the Texans' contract with 610 up? I bet 790 makes a run at that behemoth of a contract, too.

    I am glad the rockets are going to a station that will actually talk basketball instead of Texans 24/7. I love my Texans, but I need a break once in a while.

    I wonder if Wexler can go back to being the color commentator now? He was awesome in that role and a true successor to Jim Foley.

    This is great news. Rockets deserve a station that has some hosts who actually know something about the NBA. Mattj and Wexler will shine in the morning.
