    One line that troubled me that I think I figured out is the line about having faith... perhaps a line to indicate we should have faith in Morey and the Rockets. This would go along with the Clutchfans phrase "In Morey We Trust."

    Sounds okay but...

    ... how do the Lakers sign Williams? He will want more money than LA can possibly afford. Unless Williams decides to take less money, this probably won't happen...

    Loving this, especially if we end up with Josh Smith / Gordon and add Terrence Ross. Will be so pissed if we waste this draft on Pau FREAKING Gasol!!!

    I don't know why folks are upset about this "rumor" if it's true. It could very well be a nice deal for the Rockets and leaving them with plenty of chips to make further deals.

    It says Orlando gets Bynum and a "lotto pick," which can be as low as the 14th pick.

    It says Lakers gets Dwight plus a pick that they can used on Perry Jones. That sounds something like the 16th pick given his draft stock.

    To make the salaries match, the deal can look something like:

    ORL sends Howard to LAL

    LAL sends Bynum to ORL

    HOU sends Scola+16th pick+Dalembert+Morris to LAL (Lakers was reported to have been high on Morris during the 2011 draft).

    HOU sends 14th pick to ORL

    LAL sends Gasol to HOU

    Maybe more likely with Dalembert going to another team instead since the Lakers have tax issues and some team can actually use Dalembert as a player rather than pay his buyout. Anyhow, the salaries work. Maybe send him to the Kings?

    Seems a decent price for Gasol: Couple mid-level picks. Scola's not needed with Gasol added (plus Patterson and Motiejunas around), Morris looks to be, at best, the backup to Parsons for the moment, Dalembert is a buyout candidate if not traded anyway.

    Better yet, you still have Lowry, Martin and the 18th pick with which to make further deals. So, lets say you get the 8th from Toronto for Lowry. You can then send the 8th pick + Martin for Josh Smith. This will leave you with just enough cap room to be in position to make an offer for Eric Gordon or to deal for him in a S&T if New Orleans wants to get something for him rather than matching a larg contract offer.

    Looks good to me. Gasol, Josh Smith, Eric Gordon, plus keeping Goran Dragic.
