    I still don't like his game. Too inconsistent. Not conducive to a winning strategy. Yes, some games he can bury the opponent with hot shooting but you cant count on him to contribute in a positive way.

    Guy came off bench chucked up 10-15 shots, made 1/3 of them and did nothing else.

    Useless.

    Yeah he's not worth more money.
    Lin is easily worth more and the guy actually delivered.
    Even Novak did more than Smith did.

    Isn't this what he planned to do when he was released from his China team to sign a mini contract in March with the Knicks. I thought everyone considered this a foregone conclusion.

    He's not going anywhere, unless the Knicks don't want him. This is just how he maximizes his contract.
