What's funny is that you'd think a team would trade the 18th pick in a deep draft and not play him.

What's even funnier is that his former coach, who was involved in drafting him, would not play him significant minutes.

What's Downright hilarious is that you think he won't play even after looking at Minnesota's SF depth.


Bud ain't a stud but he sure as hell better than Wayne Ellington or Wesley Johnson.

 

Beasley's like Rafer. He'll have one "holy ****, can you believe this guy" game where he looks like he deserves to make the All-NBA first team, and then he'll have eight games where he looks like he doesn't belong in the league. That one game where he torched the Rockets ( and remember, it was only one game he played against us this year where he did it) was one of "those" games.

I would compare Beasley more to a Tim Thomas, Tyrus Thomas, or Anthony Randolph type of player

LOL what are you talking about? They reached the WCF 2 years ago but flamed out last year. Their pg is making 9M, Gasol, Gay and Randolph are making max or near max for the next couple of years. That team is the definition of being on "the mediocrity treadmill".

Im keen to see what they will do with all their tweener forwards -Derrick Williams, Michael Beasley and Anthony Randolph. They need to produce something out of those 3. I wonder if they would trade Barea as well?

Id love to see them try trade for Deng on Noah using a package centered around Derrick Williams+Wes Johnson+Barea. Then sign J.Crawford.
