not really. i could careless. I only care about the Rockets and their fans, maybe I'm one of the few people here who don't go on other bbses. I'm just here for the Rockets. It's not there's some heated rivalry from the TWolves. Lots of great Rockets go there, Jim Peterson , their tv commentator was a Rocket.
Bud will be great for them offensively, but that is one defensively challenged team. They would have been better off drafting Moe Harkless or Jeff Taylor.
But can't stay on the floor because he doesn't rebound or play D. He's going to faint when he has to practice against Beasley who's eyes lit up like a christmas tree whenever Bud was guarding him. Thank goodness we've finally moved BUD, a defensively challenge 3 who was on every 3 games or so.
Bud will be better than whoever goes #18 in this years draft for the next few years. Dont get why this is a bad deal for Minny...
Maybe that was their plan all along! Get Beasley used to practicing against Bud and hope it give him the confidence to take that to the court every night and just pretend its Bud on him!
Bud is better than CLee and Morris. He's more offensively gifted than CLee and his hustle on D showed through when he had to win McHale's trust. I get he'll be an unrestricted free agent next year but I think it's a mistake to ditch him if they intend to keep the other two.
It's a good deal for Minny and they should be happy. The fact that he got beaten out by Parsons this last season probably makes him look not as good. But, they should look at how he had played under Adelman the year before, not what he did under McHale. Switching coaches makes people's use value fluctuate. Adelman will put him in a position to succeed and he'll have a good season.
There's no way Beasley, Randolph, Williams, and Johnson will all be on the team, next year. Honestly, I don't think the T-Wolves are done. They could get 1st rounder back for Williams.
Dude, it's been one season... I mean he may well be out of the NBA in a couple years, but you can't make such conclusive statements about his career at this point.
I think this is because Wolves fans are so used to jumping on Kahn every time he makes a move. Perry Jones could be there.
It is a good deal for Mini. He's played for Rick the Ruler before, so he'll fit in easily. I don't think the TWolves are done making deals.
I see this as a really good deal on both sides. Rox got mid 1st rd value for decent talent that we could not use well because of our roster. Minn should like this pick during the season. Bud fits in perfectly with Adelman and Rubio playing the 1.
They get a young shooter/scorer who Adelman trusts and won't gripe about playing time. Bud's proven he should've been picked in the first round pick in what was a deep draft in 2009. Plus they get Eliyahu's rights. They guy might never play in the NBA but he's a lower level star player in Euroleague.
